Safety Information Session: Being safe in your home and community!
Saturday, October 17, 2009. This is a one day, participation session sponsored by both Recreation and Leisure Services and Family Services with Semiahmoo House Society. Participants and family members/caregivers are welcome to come out to learn how to address feeling safe in your home and community. Safeguards help reduce the risk that a person or a family might face because of their vulnerabilities. Safeguards can also be things that a person does for themselves or things that other people or agencies do with or for them. Safeguards can prevent something bad from happening, make something better, or create something positive, or help a person be better prepared. Please come out and join us for this very important day!
