| We create a safe environment for children in which
their total development is encouraged and supported. We meet the social,
emotional, physical and intellectual needs of a child, both individually and
in a group context. We do this by providing a play based program which
allows the child full expression of self. The child experiences his or her
own world through the eyes of a child. We meet the child at his or her
level and guide him or her through the natural stages of growth. We support
the child as an individual, as part of a family and as a member of our

We are open Monday to Friday
from 6am to 6pm
The centre is closed on all statutory holidays.
We offer full day care on school professional days, spring break, summer
vacation and Christmas holidays for school age children

The
Peninsula Daycare Revitalization Project
The Society is undertaking ‘The Peninsula
Daycare Revitalization Project’, for the purpose of upgrading
and renovating the Child Care Centre, for the following reasons: first
and foremost, the buildings are in poor physical condition and are
operating at a sub-standard level, this is of great concern as the
children’s health and safety are at risk; secondly, to make the Centre
Wheelchair accessible, therefore addressing the needs of disabled
children; and lastly, to improve the exterior and interior appearance
of the building.
