The Down Syndrome Research Foundation is pleased to offer a series of workshops

 designed to provide relevant information to assist families who have a child with special needs to prepare for the future.

 

2nd Thursday of the month - 6:30 - 8:00 pm - Burnaby (DSRF)

3rd Thursday of the month - 6:30 - 8:00 pm - Semiahmoo House Society

May 8 and 15th - Adult Guardianship, Representation Agreements and Committeeship - who has the legal right to represent my child?

 

June 12 and 19th - Will and Estate Planning - How do I leave money to my dependant adult child without impacting their disability benefits?

 

September 11 and 18th - Micro Boards - What is a micro board and how does it work?

 

October 9 and 16th - Individualized Funding - what is IF and how does it work?

 

November 13 and 20th - Personal Support Networks - All the details are in place, but who ensures the quality and happiness?
