Respite

Respite Support offers relief for individuals with disabilities and their families. Everyone needs a break. Respite services provide both organized breaks and support for families with special needs. Through this, all members of the family have the chance to relax and pursue outside activities.

The Community Support Network offers a variety of respite options:

Hourly Respite: assists families who need a short break during the day to pursue other activities. Support can be provided in the home or a variety of other locations depending on the family’s need.

Weekend/Weekly Respite: can benefit families who require support for a longer period of time. Again, this service can be provided either in the family home or in another location depending on need.

Emergency Respite: can be provided in the family home or in the support provider’s home for the purpose of insuring quality support while the family is on vacation, ill or in the midst of a family emergency/crisis situation.
